Our Client is one of the world’s largest independent actuarial and consulting firms with over 3,000 employees in 60 offices worldwide and has been serving clients for more than 70 years in Europe, North America and Asia. Our Client’s Dublin office has a broad client base, of more than 70 financial institutions.  The Dublin team currently comprises over 30 people with actuarial expertise, mostly qualified.

The services our Client provides include establishing new insurance companies, providing outsourced actuarial functions for more than 30 (re)insurers, IFRS 17 development work, product development and pricing, capital planning, risk assessment and management, formulating market entry and distribution strategies, mergers & acquisitions and portfolio transfers.  They are also working with clients to assist them in outsourcing substantial parts of their actuarial work.

The Candidate

Our Client is looking for a recently qualified life assurance actuary, who is a self-starter, a good communicator, collaborative and able to fit well within a team.  Our Client prides itself on the prestige of its consultants and you will enhance both your and our Client’s professional credibility and subject matter expertise in current developments in the Irish insurance market and the actuarial profession. You will value the opportunity to nourish and develop your entrepreneurial skills, and to meet new people and to participate in our Client's expansion in Dublin to satisfy demand.
